Dickinson, Emily: Van ám egy másik ég (There Is Another Sky in Hungarian)

Portre of Dickinson, Emily

There Is Another Sky (English)

There is another sky,
Ever serene and fair,
And there is another sunshine,
Though it be darkness there;
Never mind faded forests, Austin,
Never mind silent fields—
Here is a little forest,
Whose leaf is ever green;
Here is a brighter garden,
Where not a frost has been;
In its unfading flowers
I hear the bright bee hum:
Prithee, my brother,
Into my garden come!

Van ám egy másik ég (Hungarian)

Van ám egy másik ég,
Mindig tetsző, derült,
És süt nap más odafenn,
Bár itt éj van, lehűlt;
Ne bánd a levélhullást, Austin,
Ne bánd a halk mezőt –
Van itt egy kicsi liget,
Benn’ örökzöld a szín;
S napsütöttebb a kert itt,
Nem volt dér ágain;
Nemhervadó virágon
Hallom, zümmög a méh:
Gyere, fivérem,
Az én kertem felé!
