Raine, Kathleen: A kristály koponya* I (The Crystal Skull* I in Hungarian)

Portre of Raine, Kathleen

The Crystal Skull* I (English)

At the focus of thought there is no face,
the focus of the sun is in crystal with no shadow.
Death of the victim is the power of the god.

Out of the eyes is the focus of love,
the face of love is the sun, that all see,
the skull of the victim is the temple of sight.

The eyes of the victim are the crystal of divination.
Sun clears the colours of life.
The crystal of the skull is the work of the sun.

The stone of my destruction casts no shadow.
The sun kills perfectly with the stroke of noon.
The clarity of the crystal is the atonement of the god.

The perfection of man is the pride of death,
the crystal skull is the perpetuity of life.
The power of the god is the taking of love.

The perfection of light is the destruction of the world,
death and love turn the faces of day and night.
The illumination of the skull is the joy of the god.

*The crystal skulls are human skull hardstone carvings made of clear or milky white quartz, known in art history as "rock crystal", claimed to be pre-Columbian Mesoamerican artifacts by their alleged finders; however, none of the specimens made available for scientific study have been authenticated as pre-Columbian in origin. The results of these studies demonstrated that those examined were manufactured in the mid-19th century or later, almost certainly in Europe during a time when interest in ancient culture was abundant.

A kristály koponya* I (Hungarian)

A gondolatok gyújtópontjában nincs már több arc,
a nap fókusza az árnyéktalan kristályban van.
Az áldozat halála: a nap hatalma.

A szeretet gyújtópontja nem a szemekben rejlik,
a szeretet arca a nap, amelyet mindnyájan látunk.
Az áldozat koponyája minden látvány temploma.

Az áldozat szeme a jövendőmondó kristály.
A nap megvilágítja az élet színeit,
és a koponya kristálya a nap műve.

Semmilyen árnyék nem esik rombolásom kövéről.
A nap tökéletesen öl a dél csapásával.
A kristály átlátszósága Isten kibékítése.

A halál büszkesége a tökéletes ember,
de a kristály-koponya az örök élet.
A kapott szeretet Isten hatalma.

A tökéletes fény e világ elpusztítása.
Halálból és szeretetből fakad a nappal és éjszaka arca.
A koponya tündöklése Isten öröme.

*A kristálykoponyák kvarc- vagy egyéb kristályból kifaragott, emberi koponyát formázó szobrok, melyek állítólagos megtalálóik szerint a pre-kolumbán időkből származnak, és közép-amerikai eredetűek. A tudományos vizsgálatok számára rendelkezésre bocsátott egyetlen példány esetében sem sikerült azonban igazolni a pre-kolumbán eredetet. A vizsgálatok eredményei alapján a vizsgált példányokat a 19. század közepe táján, vagy később készítették, csaknem bizonyosan Európában.
