Kiszivattyúzza szívemből
az utolsó csepp vért,
husángot hegyez csontjaimból,

hiába állította:
előttem nem volt itt élet,
a vallomás szavai hamisan csengő
fehér csöndekbe fúló csillagok.

He pumps from my heart
the final drop of blood,
sharpens my bones into spears,
 
in vain he claimed:
before I was, here there was no life,
the words of confession are off-key clanging stars
that drown in silences blanched to white.
