"Johanna ma sírt először,
mármint igazi könnyekkel,
öt hónaposan.

Eddig csak 
a hangja sírt,
a szeme száraz maradt.

(Jellemző, hogy arra 
a napra nem emlékszünk,
amikor először felnevetett.)

Odakint olvadni kezdett a hó, 
sírtak az ereszek,
és talán utánozni akarta őket.

Megindultak a könnycsatornák,
és kiáradtak
a kék szemek apró tavai.

Persze nem nagyon,
mindössze két kis átlátszó 
üveggyöngy gurult ki belőlük,

de olyan váratlanul,
mintha könnyezni
kezdett volna

egy Mária-szobor. "
