Összeszedni (Magyar)
Összeszedni a ruhát, ami megszáradt,
hajtogatni, szortírozni. Vasalni nem. Nincs vasaló, a régi
elveszett, a költözés kegyetlen.
Galambok.

Gathering up (Angol)
Gathering up the clothes that dried, folding, sorting. No ironing. There is no iron, the old one was lost, moving is merciless. Deemed junk, out with it. But nothing is missing, things collect, and in the end you leave them, let go of them, truth be, you don't even notice. Because you had to hurry, deadlines were nearing, immovability was lost as well. That, too, was a heavy iron. What I miss are the birds and the two Russian cast iron bowls from which they drank, in which they bathed. The old plum tree, the woodpecker, pigeons. Sparrows and titmice. Thrushes. Snails. Gone these as well. No fig trees, nor honeysuckle, woodbine, coloured paving tiles, they all vanished, memories. Not even memories, merely a swirling past. But where? No one had believed it. For them this is vivid, for me something conjures up a dim image at times, letting me see the house which is gone, only its frame is standing, turned to a monstrosity, flourishing with a rosy hue.
