Biography
William Vaughn Moody (1869 – 1910) Indiana államban született, apja gőzhajókapitány volt. A Harvardon és a chicagói egyetemen irodalmat tanított. Egyik, 1905-ben bemutatott prózai színművével óriási sikert aratott. Verseken kívül angol irodalmi tankönyvet és egy befejezetlen verses drámatrilógiát írt.
