Auf einen Ehrgeizigen

Alle Menschen gönnen dir, daß du möchtest Cäsar werden,
Doch mit dreiundzwanzig Wunden niederliegend auf der Erden.
   
   
   
Sicher Armut

Ein Armer hat es gut; er fürchtet selten sehr,
Dieweil er mehr nichts hat, daß er verliere mehr.
   
   
   
Grabschrift eines Speise- oder Kuchelmeisters

Der hier begraben liegt, der hielt sehr viel vom Essen
Und kann im Grabe noch des Essens nicht vergessen;
Denn weil er selbst nicht mehr die Essens-Lust kann büßen,
Gibt er sein eigen Fleisch den Würmern zu genießen.
