Dehmel, Richard: Az úszó (Der Schwimmer in Hungarian)

Portre of Dehmel, Richard
Portre of Kosztolányi Dezső

Back to the translator

Der Schwimmer (German)

Gerettet! Und er streichelt den Strand,

um den er rang mit dem wilden Meer;

noch peitscht der weiße Gischt seine Hand.

Und er blickt zurück aufs wilde Meer.

Und blickt um sich ins graue Land;

das liegt im Sturm, wie’s vorher lag,

fest und schwer.

Da wirds nun sein wie jeden Tag.

Und er blickt zurück aufs wilde Meer – –

Az úszó (Hungarian)

Győzött! Elérte már a partot.

Győzött! Ezért volt az egész.

Kezén a hab tajtéka harsog,

s még egyszer a dühös tengerre néz.

Előtte föld, szirt, szürke partfok,

paskolja a fekete vész,

de állja, felszökellik.

Most minden úgy lesz, ahogy eddig,

s még egyszer a dühös tengerre néz.
