Silverstein, Shel: Hólabda (Snowball (Falling Up) in Hungarian)

Portre of Silverstein, Shel

Snowball (Falling Up) (English)

I made myself a snowball
As perfect as could be.
I thought I’d keep it as a pet
And let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas
And a pillow for its head.
  Then last night it ran away,
  But first—it wet the bed.

Hólabda (Hungarian)

Szép hólabdát csináltam,
Szinte tökéletest;
Ölebként hálni énvelem
Nem volt a beste rest.
Kapott az pizsamát is,
Párnát és lepedőt.
   Hát megszökött az este,
   De bevizelt előbb.
