Dickinson, Emily: Észrevétlenül mint a Gyász (As imperceptibly as Grief (1540) in Hungarian)

Portre of Dickinson, Emily

As imperceptibly as Grief (1540) (English)

As imperceptibly as Grief
The Summer lapsed away --
Too imperceptible at last
To seem like Perfidy --
A Quietness distilled
As Twilight long begun,
Or Nature spending with herself
Sequestered Afternoon --
The Dusk drew earlier in --
The Morning foreign shone --
A courteous, yet harrowing Grace,
As Guest, that would be gone --
And thus, without a Wing
Or service of a Keel
Our Summer made her light escape
Into the Beautiful.

Észrevétlenül mint a Gyász (Hungarian)

Észrevétlenül mint a Gyász
Úgy fogyott el a Nyár —
Túl észrevétlen végül is
Nem hűtlen csapodár —
Nagy Csöndeszencia
Ha be Alkony köszönt,
Vagy a Természet él meg egy
Nagy békés Délutánt —
Korai Félhomály —
A Hajnal idegen —
Egy lágy de lúdbőrző Malaszt,
Emlék Vendég mögött —
Így most már Szárny-talan
Hajó- s Bárkátlanul
Fényét elszöktette Nyarunk
S az Szépségben honol.
