Dickinson, Emily: A földet túl sok Mennyei hagyta el (So much of Heaven has gone from Earth in Hungarian)

Portre of Dickinson, Emily
Portre of Israel Efraim

Back to the translator

So much of Heaven has gone from Earth (English)

So much of Heaven has gone from Earth
That there must be a Heaven
If only to enclose the Saints
To Affidavit given.

The Missionary to the Mole
Must prove there is a Sky
Location doubtless he would plead
But what excuse have I?

Too much of Proof affronts Belief
The Turtle will not try
Unless you leave him  then return
And he has hauled away.

A földet túl sok Mennyei hagyta el (Hungarian)

A földet túl sok Mennyei hagyta el
Így lennie kell egy Mennynek
Már azért is hogy betegyék
Kiutalt helyére az összes Szentet.

Muszáj hogy a Misszionárius
A Vakondot győzze meg
Az Ég pontos helye tán vitás
De nekem milyen mentségem lehet?

Hit-ellenes a Túlbizonyítgatás
A Teknőc nem gürizik neked
Csak ha magára hagyod  mire visszamész
Ő rég eltipegett.

...............................
