Dickinson, Emily: Sodródik, sodródik, vigyázz! 30 (Adrift! A little boat adrift! 30 in Hungarian)

Portre of Dickinson, Emily

Adrift! A little boat adrift! 30 (English)

Adrift! A little boat adrift!
And night is coming down!
Will no one guide a little boat
Unto the nearest town?

So Sailors say — on yesterday —
Just as the dusk was brown
One little boat gave up its strife
And gurgled down and down.

So angels say — on yesterday —
Just as the dawn was red
One little boat — o'erspent with gales —
Retrimmed its masts — redecked its sails —
And shot — exultant on!

Sodródik, sodródik, vigyázz! 30 (Hungarian)

Sodródik, sodródik, vigyázz!
És jön az éjszaka!
Ki vigyázza a kis hajót?
Lesz-e kalauza?

Tengerész meséli -- tegnap --
Ahogy sötétedett
Egy kicsi hajó bukdácsolt
Vesztve reményeket

Az angyal meg így szól -- tegnap --
Ahogy  hajnalodott
Kis zilált vitorlás hajó
Fedélzetét rendbehozva
Örömlövést adott
