Stevens, Wallace: Sivárság a parkban (Vacancy in the Park in Hungarian)

Portre of Stevens, Wallace

Vacancy in the Park (English)

March… Someone has walked across the snow,
Someone looking for he knows not what.

It is like a boat that has pulled away
From a shore at night and disappeared.

It is like a guitar left on a table
By a woman, who has forgotten it.

It is like the feeling of a man
Come back to see a certain house.

The four winds blow through the rustic arbor,
Under its mattresses of vines.

Sivárság a parkban (Hungarian)

Március... valaki sétált a hóban,
Valaki nem tudja, mi után kutat.

Mint egy csónak, mely éjszaka
a parttól oldódott el, majd eltűnt.

Mint egy gitár az asztalon,
melyet egy nő felejtett ott.

Mint a visszatérő érzelem, egy férfié,
aki egy bizonyos házat szeretne látni.

Négy szél járja át a rusztikus lugast,
szőlő szövethálója alatt.
