For mirth, for menstrallie and play,

For din nor dancing nor deray,

Migrén (Hungarian)

Tegnap estétől fáj a fejem,

Ez a napom sötét verem,

Migrén nyila házhoz szögez,

abroncsával körül övez,

dehogy merek fénybe nézni.

Most, hogy a roham véget ér,

s a szenvedés alig kísér,

nem találom sehol a verssort,

mit a hátsó agyamba tettem el volt,

kába, s szomorú vagyok élni.

Gyakran, ha reggel ébredek

nincs kedvem és fel sem kelek,

nincs kedvem vívni, sem zenélni.

Se hangos zaj, se tánc nem éri

el fülemet és fel sem ébreszt,

míg kedvem újra fel nem éleszt.
