The daisies looking
up observe
only a self-
respecting curve.

The trushes only
see a flat
table-land
of shiny hat.

He looks importantly
about him,
while all the spring
goes on without him.

A honi  bankár
sétál a kertben,
mereven, büszkén,
gondtól gyötörten;

A margaréták
látnak ott
egy önimádó
alakot;

A rigók csak egy
fejfedőt -
Laposat, fényest a
fejtetőn;

Ő fontoskodva néz,
feszít,
de a tavasz
rá se hederít.
