To - (The bowers whereat) (English)
The bowers whereat, in dreams, I see The wantonest singing birds, Are lips -- and all thy melody Of lip-begotten words;
Thine eyes, in Heaven of heart enshrined, Then desolately fall, O God! on my funereal mind Like starlight on a pall;
Thy heart -- thy heart! -- I wake and sigh, And sleep to dream till day Of the truth that gold can never buy Of the bawbles that it may. Uploaded by | P. T. |

Egy nőnek (Álmomban a buja filagória) (Hungarian)
Álmomban a buja filagória, Hol folyton zeng a madárdal: A te ajkad; és a melódia Kél ajkaid szavával -
A szerelem egében jár a szemed S csillag-csalódva néz le Gyászos lelkemre - ó, egek! -, E koporsófedélre.
Szived - ó, a tied! - ...riadok komoran És arról álmodom ébren, Hogy a Szépségen nem legel az arany, Csak a hitvány csecsebecséken.
