Borges, Jorge Luis: Juan Crisóstomo Lafinur (1797-1824) (Juan Crisóstomo Lafinur (1797-1824) in Hungarian)

Portre of Borges, Jorge Luis
Portre of Takács Zsuzsa (Zsuzsanna)

Back to the translator

Juan Crisóstomo Lafinur (1797-1824) (Spanish)

El volumen de Locke, los anaqueles,

la luz del patio ajedrezado y terso,

y la mano trazando, lenta, el verso:

La pálida azucena a los laureles.

Cuando en la tarde evoco la azarosa

procesión de mis sombras, veo espadas

públicas y batallas desgarradas;

con Usted, Lafinur, es otra cosa.

Lo veo discutiendo largamente

con mi padre sobre filosofía

y conjurando esa falaz teoría

de unas eternas formas en la mente.

Lo veo corrigiendo este bosquejo,

del otro lado del incierto espejo.

Juan Crisóstomo Lafinur (1797-1824) (Hungarian)

Locke könyve, polcok; a sakktábla-mintás

belső udvar burkolatára fény hull;

a verset író kéz tünődve mozdul.

Babérfűzérre sápadt liliomszál.

A furcsa árnyak újra megjelennek,

ha alkonyatkor őket megidézem,

az ismert kardok vad csatára készen.

De önnel, Lafinur, már más a helyzet.

Látom, apámmal hosszasan beszélik,

létezhet-e agyunkban elhelyezve

a bölcselő szerinti örök eszme.

S a megtévesztő tételt elitélik.

Látom, e vázlatot most korrigálja,

a tükör másik oldalára állva.
