Vajon  hol ér véget a gőg? -
Vajon hányféle a jóság?
Nem-e olyan mint mesében a varázslás?
Az istenek között
néha azon tűnődöm,
szerénységünk ha lángra lobban,
talpon, orcánkban büszke pírral,
vajon ki maradna?

Where does pride end?
How many kinds of goodness are there?
Is it not like wizardry in fairy-tales?
Among the gods
I sometimes wonder,
were our humility to burst into flame,
left standing and blushing with pride,
who would remain?
