the nonchalance of
daytime wrapped in colourless cold,
the magic curses repeated
thousand times for you,

the pink dreams of
daytime frozen in hoarfrost,
the confessions written

in pains on paper

are agonies

enclosed in inextricable blocks of ice,

they don’t ever ease the silence

of nights crying out after you.
