mindegy
hogy Isten miért és hogyan
teremtette a fákat
a lényeg hogy tanuljunk tőlük
fölfelé élni és olyan erősen
tartani magunk a célig
ahogy a fák állnak;
egyenes derékkal
pőrén
szemlesütve úgy is
ha az ősz vihara
röhögve szaggatta le
vacogó ágaikról
az elsárgult
utolsó ruhákat

in fact
no matter
why and how God
created trees
the main thing is to learn from them
to live upwards and be strong
and hold on till the end
like trees stand;
keep our trunk straight
naked
eyes downcast even if
the storms of autumn
tore off with roaring laughter
from their shivering branches
the withered yellow
last bits of clothes
