akkor is tavasz volt

azt hittük örökké tart a kikelet

csak bámult a kíváncsi Hold

én szégyenlősen néztelek

a kezem után nyúltál

végigsimítottad ujjaim

hosszúra nyúlt árnyékunkon

halkan dalolt a csend

hallom ma is ahogy egy tücsök

boldogan cirpelni kezd

de korántsem hasonlít ez a mostani est

sem ez a furcsa kikelet ahhoz a régihez

a hóvirág a fagyos földbe döngölt

végtelen télből mint egy jégvirág kimered

zajossá lett a csend

és én féltelek

alig hallom

a szívverésedet

the curious Moon was only gazing

i looked at you shyly

you reached out for my hand

and stroked all my fingers

silence sang softly

on our longish shadows

even today i can hear a cricket

starting to chirp happily

but this evening isn’t in the least

nor this strange spring’s like that old one

snowdrops grow like ice-flowers stiff

from the eternal winter of frozen soil

silence became loud
