Ziláltnak tűnök, és anyagi

zűrjeim se nagyon látszanak

rendeződni. Ásót ragadok

tehát és csákányt a kalapom

helyett, és magamba zuhanok.

Kalapom filcből, ósdi fazon,

valahol odabent lengeti

magát egy rendházi folyosón,

mely mélyen és öblösen dalol

az Úrról, akit kár félteni,

mert kár úgy sem érheti sehol.

Nem említve a kenyérszagot,

mely mintha örökre beette

volna magát falai közé.
