Halálba vivő vonatok (Hungarian)

Vonatok, melyek hozzá visztek,
Vonatok, melyek tőle hoztok,
Óh vonatok, járjatok rosszul,
Ha éjszakában száguldoztok.

Messziről intő lámpák fénye,
Hova engem: halálba csaljon,
S találkozzunk egy szörnyüséges
Halál-üvöltő lakodalmon.

Trains to death (English)

Trains, which at speed are taking me there,
Trains, which are bringing me here apace,
Oh trains, do not be running on time,
As into the dark of night you race.

Light of the lamp that beckons me: come,
Lures me and signals: death is the prize,
Come, let us meet for there's a lurid
Nuptial feast that howls of demise.
