Se kézzel, se szóval,
Világitni a napvilággal,
Elaltatni az éjszakával,
Szólni a gyávaság szavával,
De sose ütni vissza.

Lelkeimmel pörölnöm kéne
S élvén is vagyok most a béke.
Kristály patakvíz folydogál
Gyémántos medrü ereimben.
Szelid fényesség az ingem
És béke, béke mindenütt,
Pedig csak én élek vele!...
Fölemelnek a napsugarak,
Isten megcsókolja minden arcom
És nagy, rakott szekerek indulnak belőlem
A pusztaság fele.
