Parányi hófehér pehely
hull rád libegve... hull a hó...
Hajadra szállva megpihen:
de szép vagy így kicsiny szívem!
Fehér virágok, hópihék...
Hatalmas hófehér lepel
terül reánk: szélfútta hó;
alatta vert, halott hadak
tavaszra várva alszanak.
Parányi hófehér pehely...
Hatalmas hóból szőtt lepel:
lányarcokon hó-keszkenő,
halott had arcán szemfedő.
