Pásztortársim jó hírt mondok,
Történtek itt csudadolgok:
Egy szűz barmok állásán
Fiacskát szült szállásán.
Ej, ej, ej! szűz emlőben termett tej.

Ezt angyal is igazolta,
Társait is idehozta:
Nosza mi is keljünk fel,
Betlehembe menjünk el.
Haj, haj, haj! úgy röpüljünk, mint a raj.

Itt a jászol, abban fekszik,
Itt a barmok közt melegszik.
Itt van a sok angyal is,
Az ő szép szűz anyja is.
Óh, óh, óh! boldog ez az istálló.

Üdvözlégy te kisdedecske,
Betlehemi herczegecske.
Éltünk után légy, kérünk,
Az egekben vezérünk.
Az, az, az, vezér vagy te, jó s igaz.

Úgy, úgy, úgy, áldott kis Jézus alugy.
