Az én falum (Hungarian)

Kicsiny faluban nőttem én fel,

Aszott zsindelyfödél alatt,

Küszködve az idővel, vésszel,

Barnultak az öreg falak.

Házunk körül a vad folyondár

Ütött magának jó tanyát

Maradtam volna én is ott bár,

Ne mentem volna el tovább.

Belül a ház telisded telve,

Kincsekkel rakva gazdagon

Nagy vala az Isten kegyelme,

Oh, mert tíz gyermek nagy vagyon…

Mért is hozott el onnan vágyam

Te jöttél volna el oda,

Hidd, édesem, az én hazámban
