Petőfi Sándor: Ergue-se o mar… (Föltámadott a tenger in Portuguese)

Portre of Petőfi Sándor

Föltámadott a tenger (Hungarian)

Föltámadott a tenger,
A népek tengere;
Ijesztve eget-földet,
Szilaj hullámokat vet
Rémítő ereje.

Látjátok ezt a táncot?
Halljátok e zenét?
Akik még nem tudtátok,
Most megtanulhatjátok,
Hogyan mulat a nép.

Reng és üvölt a tenger,
Hánykódnak a hajók,
Sűlyednek a pokolra,
Az árboc és vitorla
Megtörve, tépve lóg.

Tombold ki, te özönvíz,
Tombold ki magadat,
Mutasd mélységes medred,
S dobáld a fellegekre
Bőszült tajtékodat;

Jegyezd vele az égre
Örök tanúságúl:
Habár fölűl a gálya,
S alúl a víznek árja,
Azért a víz az úr!

Ergue-se o mar… (Portuguese)

Ergue-se o mar,
O mar dos povos,
Que aterroriza o mundo inteiro
Com vagas enormes, destemidas,
Com a sua força tremenda.

Vedes esta dança?
Ouvis esta música?
Se ainda o não sabeis
Podeis aprender agora
De que maneira o povo se diverte.

O mar estremece e ruge,
Os navios balançam
E afundam-se no inferno.
As velas rotas abatem-se
Sobre os mastros quebrados.

Delira mar,
Delira à tua vontade,
Mostra o abismo profundo
E lança para o céu
Uma nuvem de espuma.

Escreve com ela
o teu aviso eterno:
Embora a galera esteja por cima,
E por baixo a corrente do mar,
É o mar quem manda!
