Szőlővessző-koszorúval

Koszorúzzatok meg engem,

Mert a szőlővessző és a

Költő sorsa oly hasonló.

Költő és a szőlővessző

A világnak adja lelkét.

Szőlővessző lelke a bor,

A költőnek lelke a dal.

Lelkünket ha általadtuk

Borban, dalban a világnak:

Elhervadunk, elenyészünk.

És midőn már elenyésztünk:

Lelkeink, a bor s dal mellett

Vígad a világ! - - -
