Anya, anya
ebben a sivatagban,
mért hagytál itt, ebben a sivatagban?

Mért hagytál itt, hol minden oly kietlen,
és mindent mégis oly kiváncsian
szemlélgetek?

Tudod, hogy hány kisértés,
a semmi és üresség késdobáló
hány és hány pokla leskel itt reám?

Persze, a ruhák fodrát leeresztik,
a kelme megfakúl, s a fű
beteríti az utakat.

Persze, persze, a feledés, az elmulás -
de hol is hagytam abba? -
mégis élek,
mégis nehéz, anya, mégis nehéz.
