Zsolozsma (Hungarian)

Rovarok és gyerekek, most és mindíg,
kövek, füvek és állatok
figyelik, figyeljük ahogy
a nap alászáll. Mint Isten halálát
amint a vér kivonúl a világból
és végre alhatunk. Igen,
ahogy a semmi ágyat vet, figyeljük
és jónak tartjuk ahogyan
végülis megpihenhetünk.

Evening Prayer (English)

Insects and children, now and at all times,
rocks, grasses and animals
watch, we all watch as
the sun’s setting. Like God’s death -
as blood’s leaving the world behind,
and we can at last sleep. Yes,
as the void’s making bed, we watch
and find it all right as
we at long last can have a rest.
