Őszi vázlat (Hungarian)

A hallgatózó kert alól
a fa az űrbe szimatol,
a csend törékeny és üres,
a rét határokat keres.
Riadtan elszorul szived,
az út lapulva elsiet,
a rózsatő is ideges
mosollyal önmagába les:
távoli, kétes tájakon
készülődik a fájdalom.

Autumn Sketch (English)

From under the harking garden
the trees keep sniffing into space,
silence is delicate, empty,
the field searches for boundaries.
In a sudden fright your heart sinks,
the path hurries off skulkingly,
the rose-bush, too, with an upset
smile now just stares within itself:
on faraway, dingy landscapes
pain’s slowly setting on its way.
