Teljesüljön a Te akaratod:
a Miatyánkból ezt tudom már csak.
Bimbóban nem marad meg a virág,
és visszafele nem foly a patak.

Teljesüljön a Te akaratod:
be fölösleges minden más beszéd…
Az én kezem, e vézna, gyönge kéz
hogy tartaná fel az Isten kezét?

Minden léleknek csak egy útja van
és csak ezen az egy úton mehet.
És nem lépheti által önmagát
és öntörvénye ellen nem tehet.

Bizonnyal minden úgy van jól, ahogy van.
És ez az eszme megnyugvást is ád:
ki sorsával vív, alája kerül
és győz, ki néki megadja magát.
