Máriabesnyő- -
félnapi nászút,
vagy annyi se, csak
egy órányi bolyongás, itt,
a kolostort megkoszorúzó
park néma, havas fái alatt.

Ez volt szép
koldus-Hawaink, Velencénk
és Bahamánk;
körülöttünk hetvennyolc
fogat és szívet
csikorító, zord januárja.

Most, május végi,
derűs vacogásban,
látván látjuk,
az úton előttünk
hogyan kergeti egymást
(vedlett kabátjuk
nem adott elég meleget!)
az a kondorhajú, komoly ifjú,
és bolondos párja,
a versek pányvájára fogott.
