Mit adhatnék? Nézz körül, amit itt
Látsz, mind a tiéd. Nyúlj érte,
Ami tetszik, vedd el. Nem tőlem kapod.
Semmit nem találsz, ami ne lenne rég
Saját tulajdonod. Amit elveszel,
Nem tőlem: a magadéra ismersz.
Hogy ez kettőnket összeköt? Hagyjuk.

Amit adhatnék, úgysem adhatom.
Ha valami megkülönbözteti
A tiédtől, ami az enyém,
Az a másféle tapasztalat.
Ami rátapadt. Az pedig át nem adható.
Használd hát, amit jónak látsz,
Ne félj, hogy kifosztasz, nem lehet.

Ami az enyém, ha adnám is,
Mondom, el nem veheted.
Pedig akkor lenne az enyém,
Csak akkor, ha hozzáérsz, ha elveszed.
Hogy az kettőnkben közös lesz? Az.
Látod, még te adsz, ha elveszel,
És tőled kapok, ha elfogadsz.

Megérted, ha ezek után
Nem teszek úgy, mintha bármit is
Adhatnék. Tégy belátásod szerint.
Ha így is nyújtod a kezed,
Boldoggá teszel. A tiédre
Ismersz abban, ami az enyém?
Megbocsátod, ha be se csomagolom.
