Csupa baj, utált jaj vagyok.
Néha síró falat havazott
körém az éjjel csillagokból

amikor holtkomolyan (és nem ritkán)
furcsa nőkkel, furcsa okból
részegen háltam az utcán,
egy padon.

A rend, mint kövér ábránd
huppant mellém; pihenést
vártam tőle, de máris gyanakszom.
Nem mást mint pihenést.

Nothing but troubles, detested woes am I.
At times the night snowed
a wailing wall of stars around me
 
when dead seriously (and more that seldom)
I slept, drunk for odd reasons,
on the street with odd women
on a bench.
 
Order, like some fat fantasy,
plopped herself beside me; I expected
relaxation from her but am suspicious already.
Mere relaxation, nothing more than that.
