A virág szebb a világnál,
Szebb az álom a virágnál.

Szebb a tenger mint az ember,
Szebb a felhő mint a tenger.

Hervadt levél szebb a zöldnél,
Szebb a hó az anyaföldnél.

Naplemente szebb a napnál,
Holdas éj az alkonyatnál.

A hajnal szürke selyemmel,
A köd rózsasejtelemmel.

Fecske szép ha száll, ha játszik,
Szebb ha tűnik s már nem látszik.

Szép a zene zengvén zengve,
Szebb ha elhalt, csuda csendje.

Szép megnézni festett képet,
Aki hátrább-hátrább lépett.

Szép a visszhang ha beszélnek,
Jobb az emlék mint az élet.
