Régóta hang se jön felém,

bár tudom, börtönöm alatt

sokféle tarka lény lakik,

lassan ledönti a falat.

Akkor szabad lennék megint,

de menni én már nem tudok,

tovább ülök cellám helyén

és arcomon eső csorog.

For quite a while I heard no sound,

but know beneath my prison wall

there live some bright and brindle things,

they'll slowly cause the walls to fall.

If that were so I would be free,

but can by now not walk again,

I sit where once my cell had been

and on my face, there weeps the rain.
