Acsai Roland: The third chronology (A harmadik időszámítás in English)

Ma három hónapja ültünk be
Egy autó hátsó ülésére, egy macskahordozó mellé,
És átállítódott bennünk valami,

Téli időszámításról nem a nyárira váltottunk, 
Hanem egy harmadikra, amit
Mi hoztunk létre, és az előző kettőn

Kívül áll, és ebből a szempontból
Mindegy, hány hónapja vagyunk együtt,

It is three months ago today that we sat
into the back seat of a car, next to a cat-carrier,
And something was re-set in us,
 
From winter-time we did not switch to summer-time,
But to a third one, which was of our own making
And is extrinsic to the former two,
 
And from this point of view,
It matters not how many months we spent together,
Our time goes faster and slower,
 
As if a giant hour-glass would be measuring it,
In which planets replaced the sand,
And if, through an eternity,
 
The sand flowed through, the glass could be turned
And all would begin again.
