Kérdezte lányom, amikor az Állatkerti
Műanyagbúra alatt először hallott
Bálnaéneket.

Álltunk a búra alatt,
Mint egy óceánba merülő búvárharangban,
Mint egy buborékban,
Mintha egy medúza üvegszoknyája alatt.

„Mitől olyan szomorúak a bálnák?”
Hirtelen nem tudtam, mit felelni,
De most már tudom a választ:
Mert túl nagy a szívük.
