Csak légy erős (Hungarian)

Hogy holnap majd valóban jó lehess,
ma rossznak lenned elrendeltetett,
csak irtsd a gazt és szívtelen nevess,
ne tudja ő, hogy mégis fáj neked,

hogy fáj neked és néha, estelen,
dadogva mondod: nem megy ez tovább,
míg pénzét számolja a becstelen
és tapló-lelkéhez keres kovát.

Csak légy erős, csak most ne hagyd magad,
rikoltsd rekedten, mint a varjúszáj:
ó, milyen jó szeretni s nem szabad,
ó, milyen rossz gyűlölni és muszáj.
