Kányádi Sándor: Poems Around The Poem (Details) (Versek a vers körül. Részletek. in English)

Portre of Kányádi Sándor

Versek a vers körül. Részletek. (Hungarian)

Széljegyzet lábjegyzettel

riszálják magukat tetszetős
interjúkban riszálják magukat
európa boldog kőltői egymással
versenyeznek a beállás
külőnbőző pózaiban alkotási
nyavalyáikkal traktálják
aki még traktálható
beszélnek beszélnek
egymásnak beszélnek

szárnyas csikaik megannyi
kérődző barom
nekem pedig savanyú a szöllő

Egy zarándok naplójából

megcsodáltam a nagyvilág
csodálni-valóan szép
katedrálisait
de imádkozni csak itthon
gyermekkorom öreg
templomában tudnék
ha tudnék

(…)

A maradékhoz

rajtad is áll hogy a verseim
szirmokká nyílnak-e vagy
jól időzítve repeszdarabokká

Poems Around The Poem (Details) (English)

Marginal note with a footnote

swaying their hips in claptrap
interviews swaying their hips
europe’s blissful poets rivalling
each other in different
poses of attitudes pestering
those who can still stand it
with their miseries of creation
talking and talking
talking to each other

their winged foals as so many
ruminating beasts
and to me the grapes are sour

From the diary of a pilgrim

I’ve admired the world’s
admirably beautiful
cathedrals
but only at home in the old
church of my childhood
could I pray
if I could

(…)

To the rest
it’s up to you too whether my poems
will open as flower-petals or
timed properly – as bombshell splinters
