Mint csillag fénye alkonyórán,
Szelíden,csöndesen mosolygván,
Te szép, te kedves, fiatal:
Úgy szálljon hozzád ez a dal.

S úgy szálljon hozzád ez a dal,
Mint hófehér galamb az estve,
Fáradtan enyhelyet keresve,
Míg csöndben zörren az avar:
Úgy szálljon hozzád ez a dal.

Ne legyen soha ez a dal
Búgó siráma bánatomnak,
Én hordozom csak, én tudom csak.
Sugaras, rózsás, fiatal:
Mint te, olyan épp ez a dal!
