A fordító (Hungarian)

Belép a versbe. Szikla. Összezárul
mögötte, kővé lesz ő maga is.
A csontok celláiba és az ívek
árkádjaiba lassan beszívódik.

De míg ő megfagy, átforrósodik
körötte az anyag, végül megolvad,
és az izzzó magmából kivirágzik
egy új alakzat: sivatagi rózsa.

Ő maga pedig a kőből a kőbe
csukódik, feltámad, megsemmisül
azon az úton, mely testén keresztül
vezet át a teljesből az egészbe.

The Translator (English)

Enters the poem. The rock. It closes
behind him. He as well turns into rock.
He saturates slowly the cells of the bones
and the vaults of the collonade block.

But getting frozen he gives heat to the
substance around, it melts, transforms
- from glowing magma a new formation
will burst into full blossom: a desert rose.

And from stone into stone he’ll close
himself up, resurrect, annihilate
on the road leading through his body
all the way from complete to the whole.
