A sínek, a létezők
biztosan visznek valahova,
csak én félek megérkezni.
Ablak előtt,
fékezések és nekilódulások között
játszom az örök utazót –
jönnek és mennek a tájak,
zöld-fehér álomkockák,
s én merev díszletekben
egyetlen bábu,
csak játszom, játszom...

A sínek biztosan 
visznek valahova, 
hol morcos-unottan 
valaki kiszállást parancsol.

Rails, the real ones
surely take people somewhere,
I just feel scared to arrive.
At the window
I’m playing the eternal traveller -
the train brakes and then dashes,
sceneries come and go,
green and white dream-squares -
and among hard-set props I’m
the only puppet
just playing and playing…

Rails surely                        
take people somewhere,
where grimly and bored
someone orders them to get off.
