Tehetetlen ringok a semmiben.
Gyanútlan alszom
a valóság partján.
Aztán – jelre
alattomos,
hűtlen árnyak döfnek.
Lüktetve morajlik
az univerzum törvénye.
A nagy Bumm után mezítláb
melegszem
millió évig.
 
A nap langyos.
Suta törvény
ír elő szabályt.
 
Uram,
hűtlen, hideg patások
törtek át a pusztán. 
 
És mégis:
ülök a percek
zajában.
Isten énekel.

Helpless, feather-like, I’m drifting in the void.
Suspecting nothing, I sleep
on the shore of reality.
Then - as on a signal -
treacherous,
false shadows stab me.
The law of the universe
rumbles throbbingly on.
After the Big Bang
I warm myself barefoot
for a million years.
 
The sun is lukewarm.
Ungainly law
prescribes the rules.
 
My Lord,
cold, perfidious hooved beings
came crashing through the wastes.
 
And yet:
I sit in the noise
of moments.
God is singing.
