Ha innen nézem, ha a te szemeddel, az eredmény ugyanaz:
egy pillantás, kis kölcsön-dioptria, s a nagy, közös látómező,
fordított állású, kicsinyített képében, szétbogárzó pontokból
egységgé társítva tényleg szerepelek.
Láttatsz, tehát létezek.

It would seem: I am alive!
If I look from here, look with your eyes, the result is the same:
a glance, a few borrowed dioptres, and in the reversed miniaturised picture
of the large, common field of vision, from dots spread out helter-skelter
united into oneness, I do indeed appear.
You let me be seen, therefore I do exist.
