Mimikri (Hungarian)
Hová hívtál el, Istenem?
Miféle különös szeánszra,
mely szentebb, mint egy nászmise
és sötétebb, mint a sátán bálja?
Hová dobtál ki, Istenem,
mint egy ejtőernyős ügynököt?
Tudtad-e, amikor kilöktél,
hol szállunk, milyen föld fölött?
Most itt vagyok, nem kérdezek már
semmit, ami a múltról szólna,
elvégzem mindazt, amit rám bíztál,
vagy szolgaként, vagy uralkodva,
csak tudnám, mi az. Most jó volna
emlékezni, mit is kell tennem.
Hallgatok addig, és próbálok
túlélni rejtőszínekben. |
Mimicry (English)
Where did you call me here to, my God?
To what a peculiar strange seance,
which is more sacred than a wedding mass,
and darker than a party at the Satan?
Where did you throw me out to, my God
as if I was an agent with parachute?
Did you know when you threw me out
which land we were flying over on our route?
Here I am now, I don’t any more ask
anything referring to the past,
I do what you entrusted me with,
either as servant, or someone ruling,
if only I knew your plan. Now I’d love
to remember what there’s for me to do.
I’ll be silent till then, and try to
survive with hiding-me colours.
