Amikor rájöttem, hogy

nincs semmilyen sors, karma,

vagy eleve elrendelés,

láttam, hogy számtalan

lehetőség áll előttem.

Végül is, szabad

akarattal rendelkezem,

dönthetek így, vagy akár úgy is.

Látom, most szállsz fel a buszra,
egyik utolsó péntek délután,

a boltig utazol, ahol hétvégére

bevásárolsz.

Démonaink velünk járnak,

szabadulni tőlük nem tudunk.
Mikor gyermek voltam, úgy

gondolkodtam, mint gyermek,

úgy beszéltem, mint gyermek.

Ma már úgy látom a világokat,

mint az egymás mellé akasztott

kabátokat a ruhatárban.

When I realised, that
there is no kind of fate, karma
or preordination,
I saw that countless
opportunities stood before me.
After all,
I have free will,
I can decide this, or even that way.

I see, you're just stepping on the bus
on one of the last Friday afternoons,
you're off to go shopping
for the weekend.

Our demons go with us,
we cannot free ourselves from them.
When I was a child,
I thought like a child,
I spoke like a child.
By now I see worlds,
like coats hung side by side
in a cloakroom.
