Balla Zsófia: Sky and earth (Ég és föld Angol nyelven)
|
Ég és föld (Magyar)Még látható, ahogy a réz eget nyers, grafitszürke felhők benövik, akár a vadhús; fenn kinézeget egy-egy pászma. Elernyed, megtörik.
Fordul a táj. Sivalkodó vonat láthatárán ott ég az ég tovább - fényes fémjén tűzzománc bevonat a glóriát sugárzó fénynyaláb.
A vérmes századot átfúrtuk, mint a féreg: berogy a múlt a magán-alagút felett. A történelmet elfedik a törmelékek. Rönkholtak alvilága fűti a gyepet.
Mire a mélységből az ég alá kiérek, robogva életemből irgalmatlanul, kihűlnek fájdalmak, szavak, vidékek: arcom elé a szürke felhőpenge hull.

Sky and earth (Angol)One can observe still how the copper sky is overgrown by clouds of graphite grey, much like proud flesh, strands here and there defy: slacken, peer out, refract along the way.
The landscape turns. The skyline from the train keeps burning still, the firmament's alight - enamel on the shiny metal pane beams glory with its sheafs of burning light.
Like worms we drilled the sanguine century, the past collapses where the tunnels lead. The rubble falls, it covers history. Hades of trees for grass provides the feed.
I leave the depths, arrive beneath the sky, Remorselessly, I scoot towards the end, pains, words and landscapes cool, the heat defy, before my face grey blades of cloud descend.
